Artist's Comments

One of my first real attempts at manipulation with layer masks. Also one of my first with cracking the skin. Hope it is well liked. I cant remember where I got the stock, if you know who it is let me know. And as always any sort of constructive criticism and/or tips/pointers to do better with the next one are always appreciated.

really cool for a first time im sorta new myself it looks great if ya wanna make it look a lil more dimentional (the cracks that is) what i usually do is take the burn tool and make a copy of the face and burn on that where the cracks are it makes it seem a lil more shadowed and distressed

but this is awsome :D :D :D :D

go for it, lol. I have some more on my website if youre interested. Much better than what I have uploaded on DA. Tried the color burn, didn't make much of a difference. I'll remember the pointer for later images though.

cool. Thanks again for the pointer. Checking out your gallery now actually. I really love the images of the eyes. I need to get more inspired so I can do things like what you're doing. I have some upcoming manipulations which I think you'll really like. anyway, I think I'm gonna put you on my dev. watch. Really love your stuff.

THanks a lot man. Yuo should try it out sometime, it's honestly not very hard at all, more time consuming and requisite of some forthought than anything. Check out the rest of my gallery if youre interested at all. I'll be sure to take a look at your stuff.
